REELS
THATCH REMOVAL REEL Ref. STR/TRR (FS087/27)
Fitted as standard. Comprises 24 heavy duty, double edged blades spaced at 19mm (3/4in). Used aggressively before and after playing season for removal of excess thatch, and lightly throughout the year, whilst grass is growing.
THATCH CONTROL REEL Ref. ST/TCR (FS087/09)
Comprises 24 offset triangular blades spaced at 6mm (1/4 in). Used to control thatch build-up, to remove broad leaved grasses and to control the speed of greens during the playing season.
VERTICUT REEL Ref. ARR/RRT (FS292)
Comprises 35 thin, sharpened triangular blades spaced at 12mm (1/2 in). Used for light scarification during the playing season.
BRUSH REEL Ref. ARR/BR ((FS818)
Spiral, nylon bristled brush for grooming and collecting debris from the surface. Can also be used to stand up the grass prior to mowing or for removing sand splash around bunkers.
COMBINED REEL Ref. ARR/TBR (FS290)
Comprises 24 thatch removal blades interspersed with brush sections for improved collection. Particularly effective on amenity turf where the grass is slightly longer.
ROLASPIKE REEL Ref.ARR/RS (FS666)
Light surface spiker with 96 tines penetrating to a depth of 10mm-15mm (3/8in-5/8in). Used to assist in the absorption of water, air and nutrients and ideal prior to fertilising.
